Post Workout Meal

A meal after you workout is the most important meal of the day for anyone who is into fitness and nutrition. Typically you should try to eat within 30 minutes to one hour after your workout. Eating a meal soon after your workout is important, but just because you are putting food in your body, doesn't mean it is being digested quickly. The protein in whole foods digest slowly. Therefore, an ideal source of protein after a workout would be a whey protein shake and will be digested much quicker than whole foods because it is a liquid. Whey protein is the fastest digesting protein there is.
